Questions & answers

A little clarity.
A good place to start.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you get in touch. Here are the practical details, one topic at a time.

01

Website projects

What kind of website work do you offer?

I create custom websites around your business, your content and the experience you want visitors to have. A new build or a refresh starts with understanding your goals and agreeing on the project scope. I do not work on Shopify, Wix or Squarespace sites.

Can you help with a website I already have?

I can review an existing website request and confirm whether a website project or ongoing help is the right fit. I do not work on Shopify, Wix or Squarespace sites. For other sites, send your website link and explain what needs to change.

How do I get a website quote?

Start with the website-project inquiry form. A quote follows a defined project scope, so the requirements need to be understood before the price is confirmed.

Do you publish a fixed price for every website?

Website work is quoted for the individual project. The scope, content and features need to be understood before a project price is confirmed.

What should I send before we discuss a website?

Share your website address if you have one, a short description of your business, your main goal, any examples you like, the content or assets you already have, and your preferred timeline.

Can my website have a distinctive visual style?

Yes. Custom website work can reflect your personality and your business rather than follow one fixed look. Examples and a description of the feeling you want are useful starting points.

Can you work toward a particular launch date?

Include the date you have in mind when you inquire. The schedule needs to be confirmed against the agreed scope and the content and assets available for the project; an inquiry is not a delivery guarantee.

Where can I see your website work?

Visit my portfolio to see website projects and actual project previews. Project labels identify the work shown, including website, logo, graphic and print design.

02

Ongoing monthly help

Do you offer ongoing help after a website project?

Yes. Ongoing monthly help is one of my services. Tell me what you need help with so we can define a suitable scope.

What is included in monthly help?

Website updates, email setup and support, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration, DNS questions and troubleshooting can be discussed. The work included needs to be agreed for your arrangement. Website work excludes Shopify, Wix and Squarespace; ad management is not offered.

Can I ask about monthly help for a site you did not build?

Yes, for sites within my service scope. I do not work on Shopify, Wix or Squarespace sites. Send the site address and describe the help you need; I will confirm whether the work is a fit before a support arrangement is agreed.

What if a request falls outside my agreed monthly scope?

The request needs to be checked against your agreed monthly arrangement. The Quotes, agreements and changes section explains the written-approval and additional-work policy.

03

Logo, graphic and print design

Do you design logos?

Yes. Logo design is part of my work. The portfolio includes projects with confirmed logo-design credit.

Do you offer graphic design as well as websites?

Yes. Graphic design is part of my work. Tell me what the graphics are for, where they will be used, and which assets you already have.

What kinds of print design can I ask about?

Examples in my portfolio include catalogs, flyers and counter mats. Graphic and print design remain services. Print-advertising services are handled by outside providers; I do not arrange or manage those services. Share the intended design piece, content and any production specifications when you inquire.

Can I discuss a website and a visual identity together?

Yes. Explain both needs in your inquiry. The website and design work should be identified in the agreed project scope.

What should I send for a logo or design inquiry?

Share the business name, intended audience, where the design will appear, any existing artwork or brand guidelines, and examples that help explain the direction you have in mind.

Do you manage paid advertising?

No. I no longer offer any ad management, including Google, Facebook or other advertising platforms. I also do not arrange or manage third-party advertising providers. Print-advertising services are handled by outside providers; I do not arrange or manage those services. My work focuses on websites, email and technical support, logo, graphic and print design, and practical AI learning.

04

Quotes, agreements and changes

How long is my quote valid?

Quotes are valid for 30 calendar days from the date issued. After that, pricing and availability must be reconfirmed.

What if I need work outside the contract scope?

Work outside the scope of the contract is billed at $75 per hour. Additional work and its estimated cost must be approved in writing before work begins.

Can I request a change after the scope is agreed?

Yes. Describe the change so it can be checked against the agreed scope. If it is additional work, its scope and estimated cost need written approval before it begins.

Do these FAQs change an existing contract?

No. These FAQs do not rewrite an existing agreement or introduce retroactive charges. Your project-specific agreement remains the reference for the work already agreed.

05

Practical AI learning

Are the self-paced AI classes available now?

The AI classes are still in development. They should not be treated as an available course catalog or checkout at this stage.

What format is planned for the AI classes?

The planned direction is self-paced, practical AI learning. Specific course content, availability and pricing have not yet been announced.

Can I ask about the AI classes while they are being developed?

Yes. Use the AI-classes inquiry category to share what you would like to learn or to ask about the current development status.

06

What if I am not sure which service I need?

Describe your goal and what is feeling stuck. Add relevant links or examples. You do not need to settle every detail before starting the conversation.

How can I contact you?

Use the Contact page or the project inquiry form. You can also email gracie@graciew.com.

Can I share links and examples in my first message?

Yes. Links to your current site and examples you like, along with a brief description of the result you want, make the first conversation more useful.
